My New Village

Now I am at POTRET Gallery on jalan Prof Ali Hasyimi, Pango Raya Banda Aceh. As usual I spend my time for writing. But today I don’t have any idea to write. I tried to find ideas to write. I asked my Dad what I should I write today. My Dad just kept silence. He just stared at me and I asked again and finally he answered.  He said “just look around you first”.   I was like confused because I thought my Dad found something for me to write. Then I took a walk at POTRET Gallery.  I saw a lot of stuffs at POTRET Gallery such as toys, school supplies, educational toys, and some other stuffs too. But I still did not have any ideas. Then my Dad sat down on the chair beside me.  I asked him one more time. He just smiled at me. Stared at me again and finally he gave an idea. He said, you could write about your new village. O, really? “My new village”. I tried to imagine and I was a little bit happy, because it was tiring. I can write about my new village.

I write about this, because my family just moved to our new house in Lampouh Keude. Now my parents and I live in a new village.  People call this village Lampoh Keude near Abul Yatama University.  I do not know why they call it Lampouh Keude. The words Lampouh Keude are in Acehnese. It is not very far from Pango Raya, where I lived before.  Living in a new place, gives us new situation.  I felt when the first time we placed the house and live there, I didn’t like it, because our house was far from the town and far from my friends.

Then I saw some neighbors and I did not like them for my first time. I also hated our backyard, because there were too many grasses and bushes, but then for a few months my Dad brought the stuffs which belongs to me and my Family, then I like it a little bit.  My Dad then bought me a hammock and I loved it, but not really. The next day, Dad brought the TV from the shop to Lampoh Keude. It made me like to live there now. I really love living in Lampouh Keude, because the situation around us is really fresh. It is quite, not crowded like in Pango Raya.

Before I live in Lampouh Keude, I lived in Pango Raya, Banda Aceh. Its on jalan Prof Ali Hasyimi Pango Raya Banda Aceh.  We lived at a shop, because my Dad runs his business, and so does my Mom.  So, that’s not our own house, its only for rent. Its belong to my cousin’s father.  We live almost 10 years at POTRET Gallery. We turned the rent house to an office, but that’s long time ago when I was still a kid. then when grew up, my Dad turned it to a shop called POTRET Gallery.  So, POTRET Gallery was the first shop in Jalan Prof. Ali Hasyimi, Pango Raya Banda Aceh, as it was new road. We didn’t sell many things yet, because there were not many people.  It was a little bit scary.
My Dad told me that before we lived at this shop, My Dad rent a house in Ulee Kareng. It is closed to my school. I lived there when I was a baby. I don’t really know how the house looked, because I was still a baby. J
