I am at POTRET Gallery now. I come here everyday with my father, mother and sister. I am at Potret gallery because I follow my Dad. I may not stay at home with my sister, because at my house there are no friends. Therefore, I follow my parents to the shop. My Dad runs his shop and my Mom runs her own shop, POTRET Busana. So, during the pandemic of Covid 19. I always Spend my time writing and sometimes cycling around POTRET Gallery. I have been writing more than 25 stories.

Now I write about the beauty of friendship. I am inspired by my Dad’s life story. I know my Dad has a lot of friends, not only in Banda Aceh, but also from other places or countries. He has some friend in, Jakarta, Medan, and in other provinces in Indonesia. He also has many friends from other countries such as Canada, Finland, Switzerland, Philippine, Malaysia, Singapore, Germany, and others includes Denmark. My Dad is always happy to make friends. He wants to be friendly and he is ready to have more friends. He has a very valuable experiences after tsunami disaster.

I often see my Dad chatting in the phone with his friends. One day I asked my Dad “what are you doing”?  “I am chatting with my friend” he said.  So, it made me curious. I wanted to know my Dad’s friends. How can he have a lot of friends? Who is the most friend he chats? One of them is “Mr. Lars Toft Rasmussen “. Mr. Lars Toft Rasmussen is one of his best friends.  He lives and works in Denmark. I do not know where Denmark is. My Dad says that it is in Europe.

My Dad told me that the first time my Dad met Mr. Lars Toft Rasmussen was in 2005 in Banda Aceh. It was few days after the tsunami disaster which hit Aceh on December,26, 2004.  My Dad told me that my Dad met him in an office, an NGO Aceh forum.  It was when my Dad very sad, because the tsunami disaster caused he lost everything.  After that, Mr. Lars came back to his country, but his friendship continues until now. He keeps in touch until now. Not only sending emails, and chatting in Facebook, but Mr. Lars transferred my Dad some money.  Until now he still sends money to my Dad. He helps my Dad by sending the money for my Dad. My Dad then uses the money for buying  bicycles for the orphans.

I think having a lot of friends is very lucky, because friends can help us anytime.  My Dad has his experience when he was in trouble after tsunami. If we are lost and if there is a friend can help us.

As you know that my Dad runs a program called 1000 bicycles and wheel chairs for the orphans
and the poor children in Aceh. This program is for helping children can go to school easier. So my Dad collects the donation from the donators who want to help the orphans and the poor children, includes disability with the wheel chairs. Do you know how my Dad brings or delivers the bicycle? If you want to know here is the answer.

First my Dad buys the bicycles, then he puts them in the double Cubin car, then he delivers them to house of the children. It could take around 2or3 days. When my Dad give them the bicycles, they are happy and my Dad is also happy and I am happy too. And if you want to see the video you can watch it in my YouTube Anak Cerdas Magazine. I hope I can get a lot of friends like my Dad. Maybe one day I can get friends from other countries. Maybe from England, America or other countries in the world.
